VÉSU ATELIER is an independent eyewear accessories brand specializing in glasses chains designed to be worn as jewelry. Each chain functions as three accessories in one: an eyeglass retainer, a standalone necklace, and a phone lanyard — but every piece begins as a design challenge to create something beautiful enough to wear on its own.

Where It Began

VÉSU ATELIER started with a question most of us overlook: why are the things we reach for most — our glasses, our phones, the jewelry we never take off — so rarely designed with care?

We saw a gap between the functional and the beautiful, and chose to close it. Every piece in our collection is the result of deliberate design choices: the right material for the right weight, the right clasp for the right drape, the right color to make it worth wearing with or without glasses.

The Materials

We work with four core materials, each chosen for how it feels against the skin and how it ages over time:

Cellulose Acetate

A plant-based polymer derived from wood pulp and cotton — the same grade used in premium eyewear frames. Each link is carefully polished and finished to achieve a jewel-like surface. Acetate develops a warm patina with wear, becoming uniquely yours.

Natural Raw Crystal

Genuine quartz-family stones, sorted for clarity and texture. We use small-gauge gravel (3–5mm) to keep the GAIA chain light and comfortable. No two stones are identical — variations in shape and color are the point, not a flaw.

Seed Beads

Glass beads selected for uniform shape and vibrant colorfastness. Each ALBA chain is strung on high-tenacity thread with reinforcement knots between sections. The result is fluid movement with the strength to hold 3× the weight of a typical pair of glasses.

Textile Cord

A soft, durable cord chosen for its matte finish and minimal drape. The LOU chain pairs cord with acetate accents for our lightest build at 25g — designed for those who want function without visual weight.

The Hardware

Every VÉSU ATELIER chain uses gold-toned connectors and clasps, finished with a tarnish-resistant coating. Silicone temple tips are medical-grade, high-elasticity, and fit 99% of optical and sunglass frames. All metal components that touch the skin are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

Our Quality Standard

Every VÉSU ATELIER chain goes through a multi-step quality inspection before it leaves our facility. We check bead spacing, clasp tension, loop elasticity, and surface finish on every single piece. If it isn't right, it doesn't ship. That's our commitment to every order.
